Therapy for emotional eating
A gentle space to explore your relationship with food.
Do you feel like your emotions are taking control of your food choices?
You have gained an awareness that your emotions significantly influence your appetite, the foods you feel drawn to and ultimately choose to eat. You notice that your food choices prompt feelings of shame or guilt and even the thought of food sucks all sense of enjoyment out of life and prevents you from doing (and eating!) the things you love.
Do you experience constant food noise?
You desperately want a moment of peace but no matter what you do, you find yourself constantly thinking about food. You feel overwhelmed and trapped in a cycle where your mood and the demands of life dial this food noise up to one hundred, and it feels like there is no space to breathe.
Fortunately, life doesn’t have to look like this. You can understand your emotions and quieten the food noise, improve your relationship with food, and make food choices that feel comfortable for you.

Welcome, It's lovely to see you here!I’m Ben, an integrative counsellor & nutritionist (emotional eating therapist)
I specialise in supporting people who emotionally eat to help them gain an understanding of their emotions, develop skills to dial down the food noise, and feel more comfortable and confident in their food choices - and with themselves.
My approach is humanistic and person-centred and supported by gentle nutrition to ensure all aspects of your wellbeing feel supported.
Talking about emotions and food choices can feel uncomfortable.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting and nerve-wracking, and the fear of the unknown may stop you from accessing the support you deserve. This can become even more challenging when talking about emotional eating and the shame and judgement that may be present when exploring food choices.
Therapy for emotional eating is a calm, supportive and judgement-free space for you to explore how your emotions influence your food choices. If you feel ready to dial down the food noise, gain a greater understanding of your emotions and nurture your confidence in making food choices that feel right for you, you’ve come to the right place.

Kind words from my clients...
I feel able to see the wood through the trees and have realised how important it is to prioritise my needs and spend time with the people I love.
Ben has been a beacon of light in a storm and I genuinely believe I would not have regained mental balance without him.
You really listened and got it. I felt so anxious when we first started, but I feel I’m getting a grip on it now.
